It’s a bottled Thai tea latte from the grocery store. It’s like $3.50. I’m staying with her, if either of us go out to the store we habitually ask the other if she needs anything. She’s asked for this drink a few times, because it’s her favorite.
So, whenever I’m out and happen by the store, now I just grab one for her, whether or not she asked. Like I said it’s like $3.50. I don’t ask her to reimburse me. I know she likes them, and she’s cute when she opens the fridge and sees one in there when she wasn’t expecting it.
I tell this story as a reminder, ladies, that this shit is not hard, nor bankrupting. So don’t accept scrotery excuses to the contrary.
My mum stayed the night. I chilled some champagne for last night and I just got out of bed to turn the heating up so it’s cosy when she gets up. And I just saw her reply to the family WhatsApp so that’s my cue to get up and bring her a cup of tea in bed. It’s not hard. I love this woman. I know her little sound she’ll make when she sees the tea. It’s almost a selfish act to want to get it for her.
💯 You’re awesome. 💕 Drop the name of the Thai tea, pretty please. Because yum!!
I enjoy thai tea. I make my own non-dairy milk tea and it's so good.
