I have a work placement within the NHS.

I’m on vacation and enjoying the sun and peace. I applied for a work placement shadowing doctors, nurses and therapists at a neurological unit. Never thought I’d get it but today I received an email confirming my dates to start. I’m so proud of myself. I’ve been working hard through my degree and feel I’m getting that bit closer. Im not young, come from a lot of adverse experiences and a lack of opportunities so to get here is like winning the lottery. A long way to go but im determined.

Im going to celebrate with my children on our Italian holiday with some Prosecco later :)
