Blanked random scrote who cold approached me in the falafel store (success story)

Ladies, I've been a long time FDS reader of around 2 years (applied for Reddit flare just before we left the sub). Anyways, I wanted to share a success story!

This evening, I was enjoying my city solo. The sun was setting and it was a gorgeous pinky purple sky with a crescent moon, just beautiful. I'd left up the mini spa where I'd spent time with two of my friends and was cycling and also dreamily sitting by the water for a while, before I decided to grab a falafel and a smoothie and head home.

Anyways, in the falafel place, this random scrote approached me. Out of the blue, he asked me, "so.... do you have far to travel on your bicycle home?". Ladies, I did NOT know this man had even seen me on my bicycle - so he must've been watching me. In this moment, my first thought was FDS 🤣 (A) Never tell a man your address (aka where I was cycling home to) and (B) You don't owe a random l person your time! I blanked that scrote, I looked at him and said absolutely nothing! After an awkward silence, he says "sorry to disturb your evening" and we each order our falafels in silence.

Ladies, they believe you owe them your time, smiles, attention, energy and peace ✌️🕊️ You don't. It felt incredible. No losing my calm, zen mood after the mini spa, I had the space and time to respond.

I absolutely wouldn't have done this pre-FDS. Even until recently I had a strong fawn/ people pleasing tendency. I.e. would feel obligated to talk to someone if they approached me, to jUsT Be KiNd... No more.

I want to say a huge THANK YOU 👑 Queens. FDS has played a big role in my life, not tolerating entitled males, and asserting boundaries. Remember, you owe the random street scrotes nada!
