A lot of people tend to compare us with incels, which is downright insulting and problematic. When was the last time a woman became a mass murderer just because she doesn't like men? Incels want women to be raped and enslaved and see them nothing as objects. We just want to be left alone and avoid males' bullshit just for the sake of our own wellbeing. Yet we are labelled as the hateful ones while incels get sympathy from pickmes because "evil women hurt them and they're actually angels".

We are frustrated because it’s so hard to find men who meet our bare minimum standards.
They are frustrated (enraged is the better word) because we won’t settle for them.
We are the employer saying “There are no good candidates out there who are remotely qualified for this position. I’ll have to leave it open.”
They are the potential employee raging because a company won’t just give them a six-figure senior position after they’ve submitted a resume that contains NONE of the minimum requirements. And the resume is written in crayon on construction paper.
The ball is in their court to actually change the situation. We cannot change men, so we make the best of being single.
