Hello! I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I really like the FDS political podcast spinoff. I didn't see any discussion threads for it, so I thought I would create one. If you haven't listened already, you can find it on Spotify. I'm sure it's on other platforms, but Spotify is what I use most frequently.
What are your favorite episodes or takeaways? I was intrigued by the hybrid information war one. Full title is: Attack of the Furry Anime Avatars: The Hybrid Information Wars. It really puts the polarizing political discourse in the United States in perspective...how much of it is artificially generated controversy; bots retweeting the most extreme positions on either side of the political spectrum to gain traction and sow division.
I also felt a great deal of schadenfreude over the Send Bobs and Vagene episode(s) about surplus men in China and India who can't find wives....although I am low-key worried about stability in those countries and women's fate there and in the surrounding areas.
Great idea starting this! Oh I’ve love listening to the FPS podcast. Which surprised me because I initially thought this wouldn’t be my style. I have a lot of favorite episodes such as the female separatism, female relativism. I really loved hearing about the black femicides issue too! And the concept of a female-led relationship fascinated me. I was hoping that the recent Roe v Wade turnover would have been discussed on FPS and perhaps they could have brought someone in who specializes in womens issue and they could have talked about more in depth the different political sides towards the issue. Reaux did a great job bringing in conservatives thoughts on this but perhaps Elle could have brought in even more thoughts. I can’t wait for new episodes!!
I absolutely LOVE FPS! I am all for nuanced discourse and engaging with women on all sides of the political spectrum over our shared interest of liberating and raising the bar for women. There are so many subject matters I’d love to see discussed on FPS, potential guest hosts if possible *cough* Laila Mickelwait *cough* I do not like the overreaction some FDS users had to Elle. She’s a balanced conservative and willing to engage in meaningful discourse. Right wing women exist and we cannot buy into the patriarchy’s goal to divide and conquer women.

On a more serious note...I would encourage anyone with the means to sign up as a Patreon supporter for FPS--they have a separate account/tip jar from the main FDS podcast.
I love FPS too and can't wait til it's back! I appreciate the range of topics - possible unpopular opinion but I often find the topics more interesting than the main podcast.
I think we could have weekly discussion posts when it's back.
Yea, I love hearing Elle's perspective -especially all she knows on how information I'd dispersed and weaponized

I love it. I just discovered it. This really aligns with my thinking even more so than dating strategy because I keep getting cold feet about dating. I would love it if there is a discussion where we can talk about each episode. I have so many takes on various ones.
