A lot of conservative women recognize that it’s better to be one man’s private property (right wing sexism) than all men’s public property (left libfem sexism). Not saying I agree, I believe that POV stems from a defeatist mindset. The real answer is radical feminism, but many aren’t ready to have that conversation.
Radical feminism is an uncomfortable truth for the majority of women. Once you read more about it you can't go back into thinking that the majority of men are good, it's just a small minority that's bad. It's the other way around and that's a hard pill to swallow.
>”Privileged people are used to authorities being reasonable and accommodating. They vote against the rights of others thinking they will be able to negotiate an exception for themselves.”So, it isn’t living their own personal fiction, more of a belief they they are the exception to the official rules because they are the in-group.In short, they actively vote against their own rights because they don’t see it as putting themselves at a disadvantage. They firmly believe that they will be able to negotiate rights for themselves no matter what the law says because they are different and one of the “”good”” ones.
These women try to convince men that they're one of the mystical "unicorns:" will tolerate, even encourage men's bs and misogyny, will say things about how they are one of the last "traditional" women left, and scold any woman who dares step outside out of the conservative box. It's incredibly sad to see their pick me attitude and defeatist mindset.
Honestly, I think they know deep down all of the conservative men hate women, but they will try so badly to be the "exception." It never works.
It's also funny that this post just came up because I just saw a TikTok detailing the life of a conservative woman, basically explaining the "Karen" arc.

They always turn a blind eye to men’s bullshit but then so do libfems 🙃
Yes, they are foot-soldiers for patriarchy, fullstop. So are a lot of liberal women, for that matter. Good thing I'm a radfem. Like the scales fell from my eyes, as it were.
I wasn’t thinking of tradwives, rather the general type of conservative woman I have seen, like the obsessed with guns ”anti-woke” type. What are the other conservative women archetypes?
It’s not required but it certainly helps for interests that are centered around male perspectives/worldviews/benefit and/or have a surrounding culture that is anti-woman. Ex: go to a few gun stores or mechanic shops to see some of this, or fandoms for media where women are never really human
I know exactly what you are talking about, and I see where you are coming from. I think it’s best we leave this here because I believe our worldviews differ. It’s exactly the misogynistic cultures that are highly prevalent in what you are calling “mens hobbies” that drive women away from them, not that the attitudes are inherent to the hobby or interests themselves. In the case of pick mes, they think that engaging in the misogyny makes them interested in the hobby and garners them status with the men. A woman who goes to the range (since you are fixated on this as an example) on her own volition to learn how to use a weapon for her own satisfaction or purpose and nothing else will always be different to me than the behavior you’re describing.

Often, yes, they'll trade in female rights for dating advantage. Maintaining female rights AND getting good dates is harder than doing that, so it sometimes makes sense.
Many Christian women are religious- mostly Jewish or Christian, from what I've experienced. Therefore, they are less likely to make politics their religion. Which is nice, because they don't bring politics into every single conversation/forum...
The Christian and Jewish conservatives I know do a lot to tie their political ideas to their religion and make this unholy hybrid into their entire personality

Conservative women aren’t a monolith. Tradwives likely are what you are describing. That’s a minority of conservative women I’ve seen.
I am curious to know - what do you mean by ”mens hobbies”? I think others have already answered on the political side.
