This reminds me of this thing I read about people identifying as a type of "asexual" (I think they call it "demisexual", if I remember right?) because they only desire sex after they've established a strong emotional connection with someone. My reaction to that was like "This is a totally normal person with totally normal feelings. How is this considered odd enough to need a special label?" 😅

@Moussaka I'm not asexual. I like sex with men. I have standards. I am not being rejected by men. I am rejecting men constantly. I am just done with the massive sea of low-quality candidates out there, including the ones throwing themselves at me. I'll say yes to someone who appeals to me. I don't understand all the labels out there. There's a new one each week. I give up. I'm just me. I'm in my 50's and men are still acting completely stupid to try to bed me. My sex drive is still a lot higher than men my age so even a sincere man who wants to try often can't. Women have value just for being women. We are goddesses. I am not threatening men for being awful to me, but maybe I should?

I'm not familiar with the term "femcel", so I went "is that me because I'm basically celibate right now?" It's entirely voluntary and I'm not interested in being all "woe is me" about it, nor do I see any point in getting mad at anyone else for having a more active love life... so I guess I don't qualify as femcel. 😁

I feel the same way about trying to find someone. It's such a chore. I realize the chances of meeting someone without even trying is likely slim. I'm good with that. Forcing myself to sort scrotes when I don't want to would be torturous. Spending time on things I actually enjoy instead, priceless. 😆

This is exactly how I feel about my romantic life too. There are so many other things I would rather spend my time on than look for a man.
