When talking about how women are trained since childhood to over-empathize, I wish the hosts would have mentioned himpathy. It's basically sympathizing with men who have a past of sexual transgressions and making excuses for them. The whole bullshit about how accusations will ruin their lives and career, especially those of men in powerful positions in society.
The concept of himpathy itself though can be applied outside of sexual assault cases imo because of how we collectively are ok with men getting away with anything, whether it's a crime or not. Society teaches all of us and women be understanding of men and their motivations, but women will be berated at the first opportunity and suspected of evil scheming.
Yes!! I've been in so many friend groups that all have their "missing stair" friend. They claim to be stanchly feminist and to "support other women," but when you finally call out how many times Kyle keeps crossing your boundaries, suddenly it's "he's just awkward like that" or "he's just going through a hard time" or "he doesn't know what he's doing."
No, Kyle knows *exactly* what he's doing. And these handmaidens allow him to hide in plain sight until he meets his next target.
I'm not sure what the hosts think negging is, but what they call back footing is negging. Negging is not hurting our feelings, it's someone giving you a backhanded remark to manipulate you into wanting to prove it's untrue about you. Example: "you're pretty good at fixing cars, for a chick" or "I don't normally date women your race, but you're beautiful." Your kneejerk response might be to get flustered or angry and explain to him how he's wrong or you're actually not X.
Yup, you would almost think a regular person wrote that, especially with how it utilizes tone ( I don't want to make things awkward!). But to be honest, idk how reddit dorks get away with it when they still can't tell the difference between "you're" and "your". Like, the grammar in that screenshot is just too perfect lol

so negging/bullying, projection, weaponized empathy (backfooting), lying (gaslighting).
i thought ChatGPT was a tool for learning coding...scrotes are using it to prey on women now?? JFC
