I heard the only intelligent royals who did well in school were Beatrice and Eugenie. They got good grades in actual subjects ordinary people take in their general education which made William and Harry look bad. William & Harry got low grades and a lot of atta boys. Then Bea & Eugenie went on to attend university and did well there too. Not exactly better than average people but they still put their entire family to shame, especially William & Harry, with their good grades. To be fair, women in the royal family aren't encouraged to get educated beyond basics. I was glad to hear that they took themselves seriously and took some amount of delight in reading about how their academic performance was good enough to shame the heir and the spare. Meanwhile, the press always writes about their hats.
