This post might receive some backlash but as someone who has been a paying sub to the patreon for over a year now, I must say, regularly having weeks of bonus podcasts skipped is simply unacceptable. We are paying for regular new and exclusive content that is supposed to be released on a weekly basis. Maybe today's episode will come out later in the day, but last week was skipped and this is not the first time.
I get it, life happens, but some sort of communication about why we are not getting our bonus content and when it will be back would be nice. Back in May/June they went almost a full month without releasing a single bonus podcast and now two weeks have gone by that they've done this again.
It's truly a bummer. I love FDS and look forward to the podcasts.
I also wish there was a separate podcast or membership for people who wanted the career podcasts and not dating themed ones. I think the career podcasts are valuable and entertaining, but it's not what I personally signed up for and they changed it out of nowhere. I get it though, maybe there's a high demand for it and I'm the exception to the rule. But at least be consistent with the release of the podcasts if not with the content itself.
Other paying patreon subscribers, please share your thoughts, or clue me in if I missed some announcement about why they've been inconsistent about releasing new content over these past few months. I'm so close to cancelling my subscription but I keep hoping they'll start being consistent again.
I agree! I’ve also been subscribed to patreon for some time now and was wondering what was going on. I do like the career series and I think it’s on brand with us de-centering men from our lives, but it’s not relevant to me personally right now. I really enjoyed them reacting to pop culture happenings and showing us how to apply FDS rules IRL. It would also be cool if the podcast interacted with this website more. Maybe they could shout top posts and respond to questions and concerns on here (if the posters are willing to have their’s read on the podcast ofc).
I agree and it seems like 2 podcast hosts are not sustainable. I can see how they would be feeling burnt out. Is Lilith not coming back? We miss her for sure but I think it’s time they recruit a third new host. I would love to see female political strategy come back as well as there is a lot happening politically impacting women, that needs more commentary.
I hope they bring back the listener series as well we need a diversity of perspectives but not recruit from twitter or “X” but recruit from the site where the Queens congregate I’d be down to do one lol
I'm not a fan of the podcast, I can't even listen to one episode without getting bored of it mid way. I rather have fds expand to tiktok. if men are fantasise about what they will do to women who reject them without getting suspended then I'm sure we can share short vids about scrotes. I think that will reach more women, Reddit can remain for the podcast but I want an active fds community on youtube, instagram and tiktok.
