This community is special. I love watching FDS blossom. Leaving Reddit and broadening the focus to The Female Strategy were such great calls. Looking forward to more career strategy content!
I wish I had the language to articulate how meaningful Savannah, Reaux, and Lilith’s influence on my life has been. How validating and motivating your work is. Bless you!
So true. Just getting away from all the hateful Reddit men took the noise level down to a sociable level so the women can talk. Savannah, Reaux, and Lilith are creating something very beneficial & important.

FDS has changed my life for the better. I am not dating and probably won't for a long time, but what we learn through FDS helps us improve every area of our lives. It's message is so important and goes way beyond dating. This is like a lifestyle haha
Your Career is your life raft. That's why it's never worth quitting for men or kids because if they decide to leave you are still with your head above the water. Your own kids can become scrotes or pickme's so giving up your career is like trying to survive a shipwreck without a liferaft.
5 ways to survive a recession, stolen from some scrote:
“1 Diversify your income streams – the ‘OE’ way
plan for some loss of income scenarios…Just consider your risk tolerance and opportunity costs with each option.
2 Cut your expenses like a Scrooge CFO
Once you’ve laid eyes on all your expenses, create a Plan A (frugal-light) and Plan B (heavy-handed) to start cost cutting. Just don’t overdo it like not having any healthcare at all – that’s just stupid – unless healthcare is free in your country.
3 Do the opposite of quiet quitting: working loudly
Because you’ve been ‘OE’ and selectively take breaks to improve your mental health, you’re not burned out like many quiet quitters. ‘OE’ folks already know how to set life-work boundaries. After all, isn’t that what quiet quitting is, knowing how and when to set boundaries?
4 Career cushion with ‘OE’ in mind for the market upturn
However, ‘OE’ folks should do career cushioning carefully and not reveal too much. Instead, switch to playing the career cushioning game with long-term OE in mind – land and hold higher-paying jobs in late 2023.
5 Cash flow protection with recession-proof jobs
One of our proven ways to survive a recession unscathed is by having “safe”, recession-proof jobs like working at government-funded local, state, and federal agencies, school districts, or non-profits. The beauty of these organizations is they’re often slow-moving in both work demands and firing non-performing employees. As long as you’re doing the minimum (or, is that quiet quitting?), you’ll keep cash flowing.
Capitalism is a cruel, competitive game, and don’t get caught thinking otherwise.“
it’s kind of like having a scrotation, no? loyalty doesn’t seem to exist anymore.
You mentioned OE & a bunch of things I think about it. I OE (au lol) & have for a few months. The male OE sub is annoying yet full of necessary information. The privilege males enjoy in employment is obvious. The female OE sub is subdued. I think it’s because we are at greater risk of getting fired. So we talk about the things that women deal with in the home front. My youngest child is almost grown up. This is the first time in 30+ years that I haven’t been hauling children this or that place. I have more time for work and have a lot of years of under employment as a result. I’ll take what I can get. It’s occasionally exhausting and working remotely is harder on the eyeballs staring at computer monitors so many hours of the day. If I can sustain it, then I can live better, pay off debt & have hope of retirement.
Also since all those men are not working , I’ll work their job... Or not if it’s labor.
It stands for Over Employment. It's a controversial and potentially lawsuit rich practice of stacking up multiple full time jobs working overlapping schedules. Many who do it justify it by the fact that it takes them 2 - 3 hours per day to do their 8 hour day of work by being better, more efficient etc so they work multiple jobs using the same approach. It's very controversial and has some ramifications yet some people do it successfully and claim it makes sense given employers poor treatment of employees. Do a search of the term. Employers and journalists are freaking out about this so you might find some bad information out there.
oh wow. i’m assuming this can only easily be done with remote work, so the tech sector. which explains why some of these scrotes are insanely wealthy. no wonder the wealth gap bewteen men and women isn’t budging…
