Breaking down Patriarchy

All I needed to listen to was the intro. When she said how she’s not trying to “harm” men or whatever, it gave me strong pickme vibes. We’re not going to break down a million years old oppressive system by tippy-toeing around our oppressors.

I think I skipped the intro. I found the two ‘creation of patriarchy’ episodes really interesting. For me the content covered was not treated in any male apologist manner and was not information I had really seen covered elsewhere. After listening to a few more episodes, another interesting twist to this podcast is that (I think) a number of the women are coming from a Mormon background and are questioning a lot of the patriarchal teachings. I’m not religious but their perspective coming from this background makes this project important I think.

I just listened to their first episode (The Chalice & the Blade) and they defended Jordan Peterson (saying he’s a “briliant man”), I can’t 🙄
