Despite the fact that even by some miracle that he left the gang and genuinely repented of his crime, being in a long term relationship with him would put her in serious danger. I heard of someone marrying a convicted murder because their religion teaches forgiveness.
I thought youd need to be deep in religion to believe that garbage but faith got no mention in this story as far as I saw (I skimmed, but did not read the entire thing).
How desperate can a woman be to stoop to this? Wont she be ashamed to introduce him to her family? Maybe she has convicts in her family and thats why it all seems reasonable.
What about future questions from employers? And thats all assuming that he's harmless, which is dangerous to assume.
