This is how porn rewires our brain. The romantic/sexual narratives that we grow up around and see idealized become our fantasies. When we think about those things we get hot or turned on. That why we feel a physical reaction/attraction to people that meet beauty standards even though beauty standards drastically change.
When we are raised on good media, we think of a hot scenario and when someone says "what if you two were siblings?" "what if he was your date's/boyfriend's dad?", we instantly feel turned off. We become dryer than the sahara desert.
However, when we are raised on taboo porn and easily consume "x-ing my brother", "x-ing my best friend's dad", "x-ing my boyfriend's dad as a highschool student". We are programmed to feel turned on at that idea instead of disgusted. When normal people just think "eww, I don't wanna think about that".
