A man wouldn't even get 15 months with me much less 15 years! Unreal. If you're not serious about me right off the bat, f*ck you. I was on a cruise back in 2018 with a couple of my friends, ans we were seated at this table with a man and his wife celebrating their 1st anniversary. But the wife was SEETHING with rage when we congratulated them on their anniversary, because she'd already been with him for 20 years before he'd married her. She was a pickme flight attendant who waited for her pilot boyfriend to f*ck every woman on his flight path that he could for 20 years whilst he strung her along. I could just see how unimportant and unloved she felt even though she "won." She got the "prize" of this old scrote pilot after he'd had his fun. What a deal! She was a pretty lady in her late 40s, and she'd even missed having children because of her loyalty to him. That could never be me. I may die alone, and without cats since I'm allergic to them, but I will never allow a man to do this to me.
Man, the hit to your self esteem, self respect and integrity must be crazy after 15 years. He should have been excited to marry her as soon as he could.

This is cringe. I get this is a short clip, but she seems insecure. When he says 'oh there were a few ultimatums and I HAD to propose', she quips in with the 'oh you didn't HAVE to'. Then he corrects to 'I wanted to'.
Of course the media will parade this arround. If this truly is a high quality relationship, this could have easily ended with him not proposing to her after 15 years. Society wants us to stay with a man and build him up no matter the cost.
When they show the engagement pics they’re holding flags that say “finally”
🤦♀️I don’t know if that’s the attitude I’d want when getting engaged. But I wouldn’t wait for 15 years. In a way I get wanting to finish your education and all that before marriage And getting your career started but 15 years is SO long to do all those things. he constantly talks about his dreams, what about hers? She seemed to want to get purposed/married when they were in their mid 20s. So I’m gonna guess around 3-5 years in. If he wanted to marry her he would have done it then and not make her wait 10+ years.
That whole video was about him and his goals and aspirations. I’m gonna guess if she had any goals he wouldn’t be so patient
I refuse to suffer from the major cringe of watching this video so I won't. But I'll just say this: What one man won't do for you even after 15 years together, a man would in just two years or less.
Why are they not embarrassed? This is "inspiration" for all of the forever girlfriends out there, I guess. But its just so embarrassing and I am guessing that there is some benefit for him to marry her...like he gets health insurance or she just bought a house...
Why would they be embarrassed? from what i see lots of people think marriage is outdated and just a piece of paper. So this is seen as an inspirational story. A couple that has been together for 15 years (🤡) finally make it official , showing us that they truly love each other and have been through thick and thin.
However, the ladies here know better than to be with a time waster and we would be embarrassed
I had to comment again after reading this one comment. I'm dead. 😂"I hate it when people are so judgemental. Wanting to marry right away is not for everyone, some of us need time!"LOL I feel like no matter what nonsense I see there is always someone that will agree with it.
IKR why do you need 15 years of time? like the entitlement kills me. You are just wasting someone's life. I didn't think the comment section would be as it was. I didn't see one sane comment.

We almost have the same story. My now husband and I got together in 2013. In 2015 his dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and January 5th 2016 he passed away. My husband was in college and working. School was put on hold for a few months while we grieved and moved in with his mom. He decided to quit his job and finish school full time. He graduated in 2017 to end up working a cs job for an internet company for 15 months when he finally started his career in IT. We decided to get married earlier this year. May 2023 will be 10 years together and February will be 1 year married. ❤

I would rather fucking die. This is embarrassing and I feel so bad for her omg.
She's gonna need more dust than that. 15 years is a long time...
I can't even wait that long for furniture that's on preorder till 2023. Could have found like several other HVM by then.
If anyone wants to read the video comments, I screenshotted a few of them.
