Honestly, I’ve had men admit they want me over the easier, nicer women because they “liked a challenge”. They later complained about my personality and were clearly moulding me into becoming the subservient gf creatures.
Men look for conquests not love. PickMes are already conquered, so there’s no fun in it for the male. He wants the woman who’s way better looking and more accomplished than him so that he can conquer her and bring her down. There’s no challenge in PickMes.
Here's what I think (I might be wrong):
Narcissists have a different value system than normal people. Normal guys (both good and bad men) prefer a "challenge," so they don't respect "pick mes." They might have sex, get into a relationship, and use "pick mes," but they are always looking for someone they respect.
Narcissists, on the other hand, prefer "pick mes." Narcissists or abusers are attracted to compliant women who don't have any needs and are eager to please. Narcissists usually have a permanent group of "pick mes" (including their moms) whom they can turn to for whatever they need. Since Narcs are always cheating, these permanent "pick mes" also help them triangulate / devalue other women. A narc might see a successful women and become jealous of her, so they want to break them down, with the help of their permanent "pick mes."
