By coincidence, a video on FB watch appeared to me, its song is an old Arabian song called “How Beautiful Simplicity Is” and the woman is singing about dreaming of dating a broke man who can't afford meat, builds her a room that only has a rug to live in it, and live a life “full of love” with him 🤣. I mean, in my Levantine culture, we do appreciate simplicity and living in the countryside because we have the best nature, food and traditions there, but the song made me laugh because that's literally an illusion in the minds of a lot of women, that broke men are capable of giving love and piece, and being broke is not a big deal.

I loved Taylor swift growing up but lately so many of her songs (especially earlier ones) have felt so pick-me. “Hey Stephen” sticks out. Her recent music is certainly more mature, but it makes me cringe to listen to some of those early ones.
This is exactly how I reacted when I heard the song "Human" by Christina Perri not too long ago. I used to love it, but when I heard it again I cringed so hard! She's listing all these things she's ready to do to please some guy, and it's obviously not enough so in the end she keeps saying "But I'm only human" meaning "there's only so much I can take" but some of it rings so much like "Unfortunately, I'm a person. I wish I wasn't though, cause if I were a perfect cardboard-cutout of a woman you'd pick me". Ugh 😔
That’s nothing compared to the woman who had acid thrown in her face and then married him after love bombing letters.
Can you write the name of the song in Arabic?
Oh, LORD! Save us!
