I cant frequent a single woman's group without them constantly talking about their scrotes

I cant escape it. Im a gamer, im in a few gaming groups . I am SO tired of pick mes coming to GAMING groups to complain about their shitty low value boyfriends. They constantly talk about their boyfriends, positive or negative.

What i saw that caused me to come out of my FDS slumber was a woman talking about what recipes her boyfriend likes IN A GAMING GROUP. Nobody fucking cares what some random scrote likes to eat.

I also so see bragging posts like "look at the gaming gear my bf bought me!", "my bf bought me a battle pass! 😝". But dont you call this out because then you will be labelled jealous.

And dont even get me started on the women and trans women (i personally believe shouldnt even be in a group for women. defeats the purpose of a womens only group) that clog up the feed with selifes. It makes no sense. Most of them arent lesbians so i KNOW this is a result of patriarchy praising women who objectify themselves.

Its so disappointing to see. I wanna interact with women who have similar interests as me but far too many are pickmes that make their boyfriends their entire personality. Its so bad in vent groups too. Whether on reddit or facebook, 99% of posts are pickmes complaining about their shitty boyfriends but then getting upset when you tell them to leave.

I cant escape it in person either. My best friend ive known since elementary school is lowkey a pick me too. She talks about sex with her bf nearly every time i or she reaches out and she brags about "bagging" a cute older guy when really shes dating an abusive GROOMER.

This dude wont let me or anyone talk to my friend alone on the phone unless he's there and he starts getting aggressive so she can hurry up and hang up the call. It was so sad watching her life get consumed with this asshole because she met him at a very vulnerable time in her life at age 17. This scrote was nearly 30 when she first met him.

As much as i want to help her she just changes the subject when i imply she deserves better. Women are taught to hate themselves and only validate themselves off their standing with men, it really sucks 😭

FDS is the only space that keeps me grounded and from losing my sanity in this male centered society. Youll never see men go this hard for the women in their lives.

What are the habits of a non-addicted gamer in your opinion? Playing daily? A few hours spread over the week? A few hours on the weekend with the occasional binge? etc. Would be helpful to for women who game or date gamers to establish for themselves.

While it could technically be called a hobby it's closer to entertainment/media consumption, as most hobbies are not really possible to get addicted to in the classical sense.

It's kind of like the equivalent of having shopping as a hobby which most men would only tolerate at best or call you a dumb bitch at worst lol... shopping every weekend of for hours online might give you momentary happiness but over the long term a lot of time and energy is divested from developing your knowledge, skills, social life and ofc finances so its a bit hard to respect as a frequent "hobby", which 'Im sure is what a lot of women feel intuitively when looking at a grown man merged with a seat all day playing games. Like could you imagine if someone did that with sudoku or soliraire? lmao.
