Being a DV victim myself. I actually think seeing memes and 99% of social media making fun of a woman talking about sexual assault did far more damage than whatever this comment seems to think. Also seeing everyone ignore the evidence of him being abusive and her words taken out of context being twisted by the media.

You know I knew society was misogynistic but this trial has truly opened my eyes to just how misogynistic the world is. It’s not only disheartening but it’s scary.Harvey Weinstein, Kevin spacey, Jeffrey Epstein didn’t even get a fraction of the hate Amber has received. In fact Kevin spacey has been let out on bail and no one even cares. Not one single trending hashtag, nothing.

Yes, this is exactly how I feel. It really cuts deep to see this in real time. Men and women gleefully, viciously attacking her
So not all men are abusers (despite plenty of evidence proving men are the main abusers of women AND other men) but all women are liars? Yeah fuck right off idiotic brainless libfems.
These women's vehement support towards JD and hate for Amber is absolutely vile and so upsetting.
I find all this discussion going on around the internet about this case really odd, tbh. The case was NOT about whether she was being abused in that relationship or not. It's actually completely irrelevant to the case. This case was about freedom of speech for women. She made a comment somewhere that she had been abused (at some point in her life, with unnamed perpetrator). This case was about whether or not that was a defamation attack. In practice, this case makes it difficult for women to speak freely. It's very common for women to have experienced unwanted attention, harassment or abuse in their lives. This case attacks our freedom to speak about such things, even though we do not at all mention who did these things to us. It muzzles women, and prevents us from teaching, learning and healing.
Johnny Depp is a bloated wash up that openly talked about murdering and raping Amber. In what fucking universe is that not considered highly abusive?? That alone should have validated Amber’s case.
I chose not to follow the case because I knew it would make me rage but the case followed me everywhere. Opening my home screen on my phone. Reading the news. Checking social media. Talking to literally anyone. I saw the part about how she threw a vodka bottle and he cut himself with the glass and used his blood to write “good luck” or something then said “i thought it good advice”. That was enough for me to know she was telling the truth. Did she pull a gun out after and hold him hostage? Even if im in my own house, someone throws a glass bottle and if I have the ability and resources to get away and file a restraining order immediately, that’s what I would do. Then the police would remove her from my home and I’d never speak to her again. Did he not have money to walk out as soon as she threw that bottle? Of course he did. He stayed and made a movie out of it because he’s psycho. What healthy person with the means to escape would pick up the glass and cut themselves with it? I have lived it myself being in a town where your abuser is powerful and well liked. It is next to impossible to not move. I know it was a defamation case but a real victim with that much money would have taken the settlement and used it to open male only DV shelters. Instead he pulled another abuser tactic— degrading her by not taking the money at all to show her he never cared about anything except making her look bad for having a voice. Why do men think this is a win? Why don’t they get together and start shelters and advocacy groups for all these supposed victimized men who complain only women get help for DV. You can’t even be selected for a jury in a case like this if you are asked if you’ve ever been a DV victim and you say yes. Same with rape trials. The system is designed this way on purpose; it’s by men for men including family court.
I wouldn't feel bad if their abusers started suing them for defamation, they sound to me like narcissist who think just because amber didn't have a weak spine like them, that d*pp didn't ''acksually'' abuse her
Idk about Amber tbh but how come no one is talking about Depp's actions? He wasn't an angel either

Poor amber! People (pick mes) are hating on her because she is young and beautiful IMO and because she has a successful career and a movie star husband they all (misguidedly) want! They think “if I had sxc pirate Johnny as MY man I would never treat him like this”. Pickmeisha overload. I can’t even
People act like the second a woman acts out because of abuse, she's the problem and not the asshole abusing her

Fuck these stupid, ignorant pickmes. I'm getting cancer from reading their comments full of stupidity.
