I'm thinking of expanding my family of one 😉 to become a dog owner this year but i would love to hear from others who live with pooches.
My parents got a dog two years ago and I've fallen in love with him. I always said I wouldn't get a pet again due to the envitable heartbreak (plus I've lost a previous pet in sad circumstances) but I'm coming round to the idea of my life being a lot richer/affectionate with a pooch by my side. I can't help but think this would be a nice way to meet people, too, and I'm already active.
I'm interested in rescuing a dog and mainly work from home so my new best mate wouldn't be on their own for too long.
What I want to know is, if you have a dog/s, how has it changed your life? What should I be mindful of, particularly as a new dog owner and what are some additional things to consider?
I recall going on a date with someone who didn't react well to my parents' dog and it was an instant turn off! I'm convinced dogs just get it.
Thanks xxx
Rescue greyhounds are just the most wonderful pet. Look them up. They’re low maintenance and great companions.
