They need to bite the bullet and accept the fact that men and women, as members of the exact SAME SPECIES, have the SAME fertility timelines. For both men and women, the optimal time for procreation is mid twenties to mid thirties; fertility typically peaks around 25 for everyone but doesn't decrease much until you hit 40+. That's when BOTH men and women start to have more issues with fertility and pregnancy complications.
Of course, there are always individual exceptions, and a 40+ woman will have an easier time conceiving with a 30 year old man than with a 40+ year old man, as the younger half of the couple can "compensate" with their higher fertility.
This is what men have been doing for years with younger wives; however, sperm can be a little but more risky in this regard as it's constantly being made every month and thus there's more opportunity for mutations to form as the man ages, whereas women's eggs age at a steadier rate.
It hasn't really been socially acceptable for an older woman to marry a (significantly) younger man, otherwise you'd see plenty of children born to older women over the years, and there wouldn't be as strong propaganda about women crumbling to dust over 35 (or 25!). Essentially what I'm saying is men have deluded themselves into thinking they're super duper fertile until the day they die by reproducing with much younger women, and riding the coattails of OUR fertility.
Usually, older women are trying to have babies with even older men or men of the same age, and because they are much less successful, men came to the erroneous conclusion that fertility is more of an issue for us - when it's usually their sperm that's huffing and puffing and can't get very far without a 19-25 year old doing the heavy lifting.
Well in the UK, many women date younger men. I've observed this since 2016 and it has been growing. Most women I know in their 30s are dating men in their 20s. Older men seem to be out of fashion with young women these days.
