So I just saw the video and I think it's relatable to every girl who's been through this. In the scenes, you see her leaving a party despite her friends telling her not to, hitchhiking behind some guy's truck, rain, and a slushy to the face. But that doesn't stop her because she still sees the guy, and he catches on fire at the end lol
All these obstacles are like the universe's way of stopping her. That's the one thing that I love about this music video, because I think every girl has been through this situation where it feels like your fighting for love and going against all odds. However, the reality is that love isn't supposed to be hard and throw curve balls. This is something that I laugh at now in my 30's, because I get it.
Now, I don't even get out of the house for a guy if he makes me come to him. If it's too much hassle, I just stay home and cancel plans and think that he should have planned better lol
I can't even be bothered to plan for a date with a guy, and will get bored easily.
I mean...anything that's slightly FDS is a yes from me.
But it'd be more empowering if she didn't see him...and did something better instead
