2011-Always
Just wanted to make a post expressing appreciation for this group as their last tour has wrapped and they go on hiatus. They've loudly encouraged women to center themselves unapologetically for over a decade, even when the songs tread familiar territory in pop music like sex and relationships (literally just realized what Black Magic is actually about since the bridge has the lyrics 'get your boy on his knees', lol). Their songs do not encourage struggle love, tear down other women, or have pornographic descriptions of their sexuality or bodies. Little Mix's music has been so integral to my level up journey over the pandemic and I will miss them, though I am so excited to see what projects each member pursues in the future. Also would love to chat about LM or other female artists whose songs and lyrics have been helpful to other FDSers!!
I love Little Mix and I hate that their team refused to promote them in the U.S! They could have easily surpassed Blackpink. My favorite albums are Get Wierd and Glory Days. What are yours?
