I'm seeking your best resources (free and paid) from single, child-free women.
A lot of FDS-style discourse seems specifically targeted at women who may be those things now, but in the future wish to be booed up with kids.
Love is great, but I'm really focused on my own journey right now and do not see the men around me changing. One thing's for sure, I sure as hell am I not getting pregnant nor want to be.
So let me have it: what are your favorite podcasts, books, films, Youtube channels, in-person live events, and more, geared to up-leveling single women who don't desire children?
[Edit if clarification is useful:] I've been listening and watching FDS-aligned material and "discourse" in the culture for awhile but noticed how many of them are geared toward women in their 20s or possibly early 30s (that late 30s and early 40s period gets SO left out) who want a man for reproductive reasons, and who may also not have the benefit of simply having more life experience. I support more discourse among and for women in general so I don't mind this. But I'd like women to talk to / for each other about way more than that, be wide range as hell, especially from a feminist intersectionality perspective. I want more de-centered shit.
We Are Childfree started as a podcast but has now become an online community who also do in-person meetups. I don't know where you're based but this could be of interest (warning: some of the podcast episodes/guests are very libfemmy and 'inclusive' so it's not 100% FDS aligned, but there is still enough overlap for it to be worthwhile). Also, Shani Silver is a bit of a 'single-and-childfree-in-your-late-30s/early-40s' powerhouse. Being part of this demographic myself I couldn't agree more with the lack of representation or interesting content relevant to this time period - no, I'm very much NOT perimenopausal or in the later stages of parenting, which seems to make up most of what's out there for us.
