This is an old article but there are lots of good links in it to information for women with chronic illnesses and how to fight for feminism and disability rights even while disabled.
I am currently struggling with the state of the country, the capitalistic insistence that everyone get Covid for the urgency of brunch, I have MECFS and I can’t even safely go to doctors appointments anymore. And the whole entire left, who claim to be all about inclusivity and fairness, are celebrating that they don’t have to see masks in medical settings anymore. They are celebrating disabled people being driven from public spaces just so they don’t need to see a reminder that hundreds of people are dying every day from a preventable airborne illness.
I’m pretty furious about it, and I’m pretty sure I got canceled on Twitter because I openly admitted I’m not fighting for trans people because they didn’t fight for me to be able to continue to go to doctors appointments without getting infected, first they came for the disabled people and nobody spoke up, but now we’re supposed to take to the streets for everybody else? I don’t think so.
sorry, my rant went in a direction I didn’t mean it to. Anyway, if you ladies could help out by not killing us disabled people for the urgency of brunch that would be awesome. Thanks.

Agreed, sis! We’re supposed to pretend millions didn’t recently die and many millions more are experiencing a mass disabling event. Hugs to you.
I have cfs too. Happy to message with strategies that have helped me function.
I have chronic illness as well, and I still wear an N95 in indoor spaces unless I'm at home. That way, those who have normal immune systems can live their lives, and I can live mine in peace. Problem solved (for me)!
