Per Korea JoongAng Daily, the actor was charged by the Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office and is accused of "inappropriately touching" an unnamed woman in 2017. Throughout the investigation, Oh has denied all the allegations leveled against him. His translated statement reads, "I just held her hand to guide the way around the lake. I apologized because [the person] said she wouldn’t make a fuss about it but it doesn’t mean that I admit the charges." The prosecution stated that it has obtained evidence of harassment against the victim and will be taking the case to trial.

One of my friends lives in South Korea and she said it’s very hard to get law enforcement to take accusations of sexual stuff seriously. The fact that he was charged speaks volumes. I hope he doesn’t go on squid games anymore and that the lady gets Justice.
