I saw a movie clip as a recommendation in YouTube. It had nasty graphic language between Julia Roberts' and Clive Owen's characters in the movie Closer. Anyway - I have not seen this movie before (basically, it would be two hours of my life that I can't get back) but it seems to be about a man who cheats on his woman and justifies himself by saying he's a caveman, but when his woman does the cheating, he is excruciatingly cruel to her. And I see comments in the comments section defending the man and I felt like sharing this with FDS because it bothered me too much. And then there are people who have the gall to say that toxic masculinity is a myth.

As for movies, I just wanted to add here with a serious warning. One movie that has scarred me for life that combines horror, tragedy, and possibly creates a sort of PTSD (I'm serious). Just to warn before watching, and that being said I think most people should see it especially men. It's The Accused with Jodie Foster. It is a true story and the ultimate male depravity. Also, shows how some women can add to the harm (her "friend").
Bothered is a very mild description for this one. Have any here seen it, and would you say most should see it? Or is it a hard never in your opinion?
