That’s so sad Im not at all surprised by this however. I used to watch and follow drag race and Shangela really had a huge career boost after he was on. I’m not surprised this guy feels like he can do anything without consequence.
Drag race had a scandal a few years back with another drag queen who was a rapist. Instead of cancelling the season they just tried to edit him out as much as possible. so it seems like they have a lot of these kinds of men lurking around.

Men who dress and act sexually deviant are... sexually deviant 😱😱
I can only imagine why. and I get why he would but the people in that community should be aware of the kind of person he is. Because he’s raped one man and you know he’s done that to many.

Sherry Pie got total backlash though for what he did. I do understand that Shangela is more established and has diehard fans. It's just so complicated to say to someone, well, if you were sexually assaulted just do something about it. But we've seen what happens when women come forward. Women are not instantly believed.
I meant this is why he took it down. His fans were probably harassing him. So I get why. But I hope shangela gets lots of backlash for this as well. I think there’s a lot more victims out there too.

It's the thing gay men/🚂🦵s say they don't/can't do to women happening again. I thought they were safer than straight men 🤡 (despite the fact that we all know men rape to sexually degrade and feel powerful over a woman, not because they actually like or whatever twisted narrative that is sued to excuse gay rapists)I hope she gets tested and sues the shit out of him, I would way I want her to take this degenerate rapist to the police, but then he might be put in a women's prison ans have access to more vulnerable women.
I get what you’re saying and that’s an issue but he raped a man and he doesn’t identify as a women and if he goes to prison it would be a men’s prison
unless of course at trial he says hes a woman and then we all know he’d be believed and sent to a woman’s prison.

Yeah, my point is that he can simply say he is a woman to get out of 1. A harsher sentence because by law (in some states) a woman can't rape and 2. Getting a taste of his own medicine when he goes to the men's prison. All he has to do is say he felt like a woman and it's over.
I know I'm digressing but I am so sick of these unisex toilets. I got really freaked out yesterday when I entered one alone without realising, especially with this trend of low lighting in restaurant bathrooms nowadays. I hate it!

Wait, did he rape a man or a woman? Cause I took it as he raped another man.
So, he (the victim) is respecting the pronouns of Shangela (the character), while stating that DJ (the rapist) had felt like a friend, prior to the rape. I don't know if this is at all common among people in drag competitions, men, or rapists, but with extended influence on your understanding of a situation, it seems they might try to create a distance between a perceived self and the rapist, which they might go so far as to agree was a horrible thing. But they don't see themselves as the rapist because they're...Shangela, or something, and that's different.
This is a guess because my ex tried to pull the same thing. I paid for two years of HRT, dumped her, and suddenly she wasn't as gung-ho about being a woman. (This isn't a long-con, she was abusive. But on the bright side she's sterile from the HRT)
