There's a sad post on reddit right now about a newborn who was neglected medically in emerg twice after a circumcision, with blood loss resulting in brain damage. We've been hearing news for months (if not years) that Canada's medical system is pretty much heading toward collapse with more incidents like this happening every day.. In some parts of the country, we're actually shutting down emergency rooms due to lack of staffing.
Of course since all that remains on reddit is male losers, this tragic story about medical negligence has become another symbol of modern male oppression and is the third most upvoted thread of the year in the subreddit r/Canada. The majority of comments are some variation of "men are victims, women are privileged" trope because society considers FGM brutal and circumcision "normal".
A few women tried it in the comments (worth a read) so I won't get into it with the idiocy of even comparing FGM to circumcision (practices created by men) but I'm seeing this everywhere since Depp. Men will take any issue at all and DARVO into victimhood, is anyone else noticing how rampant this is becoming?
I'm also curious how women actually feel about circumcision? Whenever this topic comes up, men always seem to be around to police women's response. I'm no longer dating males but have had sex with two uncut penises and could not feel either. My vagina gripped their foreskin and it felt like they were having sex with themselves inside me? Not a fan.
Edit: Does anyone have an Ovarit invite code?
Circumsized or natural?
Circumsized
Natural
Sorry I don’t have an opinion on this subject but just wanted to share something about reactions to /thoughts on prevalent opinions on Reddit. Might be an unpopular opinion here but I want to stop caring about what Reddit thinks about any subject. Nearly all of the population on Reddit is even more misogynist than your average population, many are pedophiles, rapists, rapist apologists, and suffer from porn induced mental illnesses. So I don’t care about opinions on Reddit. As soon as I find out a man is using Reddit I am highly suspicious that he might be viewing child porn or worse. I hope every woman starts thinking this way soon. Reddit is no different than 4chan.
For years on Reddit, men have been derailing FGM discussions by raising the men's plight of circumcision. Men love to win at oppresion olympics.
My mom went through female gential MUTILATION, I was lucky enough that my parents brought me to America before I experienced it. FGM is like cutting off the head of a penis (in the specific form of fgm I know where the clitoris is cut, but their are various types of mutilation) they are not comparable and it isnt a shocker that one is consider WAY worse than the other (not to mention that fgm occurs in countries with horrible medical practices and it gets MUCH worse). Both these practices were created by men for men- so all men should bitch about when it comes to circumcision is how men oppress men (like the drafts they cry about). Even though dicks are not visually appealing, I consider natural dicks more attractive, but I wouldn't know how they feel.
I think mutilating a baby's genitals (whatever that baby's sex or the nature of the mutilation is) because of the parents' religion or whatever aesthetic or cultural reason they claim should be a crime and severely punished, no exceptions. The only reason allowed should be medical necessity. Anything else is barbaric.
If you really want to get circumcized because you prefer it, get it done as an adult.
Uncircumcised dicks are hideous. They're like ugly aardvarks just dangling between their legs and the skin meets in a tulip tip. BARF. One ex was uncut and it was grossssssss. I remember a hand job (lol I know) was just moving the skin up and down — I have no idea how he could feel anything. It was like jerking someone off wearing a winter jacket or big sock. Having sex with him was shitty too because it was like two different rhythms. His dick sock had its own speed and it didn't match up. I know it's a personal choice ladies, but I shall never date anyone who's uncut again. Not only ugly, but useless
It's on Twitter too...basically any site where people might be sharing info and opinions.
I think circumcision is child (infant) abuse. How can it not be traumatizing for an infant? I understand there is a religious significance for some but that doesn't change what the practice is.
I think it's a brutal practice and I view it as being an early conditioning of males in how they relate to their genitals and how they view their bodies and their manhood.
Having said that... if men put in as much energy into organizing to eradicate the practice as they did into derailing conversations about FGM, it would be more effective at helping protect infants from the harm.
My opinion.
Don't give these scrotes your energy or outrage. They are not worth it.
Hard truth: My experience with uncut penises is that they are disgusting. Their owners rarely know how to properly clean under the foreskin, and the smell of a dirty uncut dick covered in smegma is nausea-inducing. I won't have sex with anyone else who is uncut. I won't. While I don't agree with circumsizing infants, it is something that a man who cares about hygiene and the pleasure of his partner should do before engaging in sexual activity involving genitals once he is able to consent to the surgery. A cut dick is a nicer looking and cleaner dick, and I don't have to feel all that loose skin sloshing around inside of me.
