I had this instance once where I met someone at work and my instincts went crazy. The way that he talked (it was really superficially charming yet also condescending) sent chills down my spine. I immediately knew for myself that he was an abuser. So yeah, trust your instincts. I then got told that he was almost suspended for threatening and insulting an employee.
Something similar happened to me too. Came in all cheery and calm, then when he found out there would be a slight delay in his proceedings....it's like something in the back of his mind changed. I could just feel the energy shift of him, and his eyes had that "I'm more angry than ill let on to threaten you to do it my way." It happened months ago when it randomly popped into my head more mothd ago, but it was very chilling. I'm not kidding my brain instantly went to "wife beater".

I once worked with a guy who said he found women hotter when they cry. That was just so bizarre to me... like the act of a woman crying turned him on.
There's a study of how women's tears contain a chemical signal that lowers testosterone levels and dampens sexual desire in men. If a guy is turned on by women crying, he must be a pornsick sadist.
Last Australian PM on women's protest march at parliament house, "Not far from here, such marches, even now are being met with bullets, but not here in this country," Mr Morrison (2021) told Parliament... Why don't you say what you really think ScoMo...
Anytime a guy complains that his wife or girlfriend is "withholding" sex. Sex is not a prize for good behavior or something.
And coercion or guilting or manipulative behavior to get sex is still rape because she obviously doesn't want to.

The wild thing is some of these require absolutely no extrapolating.
I can think of like 5 guys who have literally told me they did, either in a "funny story 😅" way (god I hate that emoji) or as a pickup line
