Irvine, California Chiropractor Charged with Sexually Assaulting Seven Female Patients.

Lincoln Carillo had ties to chiropractic offices across Southern California and Virginia; Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet reported assaults.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – A 60-year-old chiropractor has been charged with sexually assaulting seven female patients while treating the women at an Irvine clinic.

Lincoln Esguerra Carillo also has ties to other chiropractic offices in the counties of Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino as well as the state of Virginia.

Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are asking for the public’s help in providing additional information regarding any additional victims or information regarding Carillo to the Irvine Police Department. . . . “Vulnerable patients seeking chiropractic treatment for aches and pains should not have to worry about being sexually assaulted,” said Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer.

“Chiropractors and other medical professionals are trusted by their patients to treat them with the dignity and respect that they deserve. Instead, this individual preyed on their vulnerability and sexually assaulted them. The Irvine Police Department did an incredible job pursuing a sexual predator and together we will do everything we can to achieve justice for these women.” . . .

Women will only come forward if they are taken seriously and justice is served. I highly doubt both will happen in this corrupt world. Maybe I'll be wrong this time.

This. Medical abuse is rampant and the perpetrators just get off because the system protects them. Women are abused (sexually and physically) and belittled as every corner there and don't dare to speak out because for many medical care is expensive and hard to come by in the first place and fighting a system like this is almost impossible.

Trying to find a doctor who is competent, treats you professionally, politely and with empathy in a respectful manner and takes you seriously as a woman is like trying to find a unicorn. If you want the doctor's assistants and personnel to treat you politely, too, you might as well give up. My cat gets better and more respectful care from every vet he's ever been to than I have gotten from like 80%-90% of medical professionals in my life. And it's not just men. Many female doctors, nurses and technicians have been just as bad.
