The problem is... capitalists will do anything (and I mean anything) to sell you shit. They want to make money. They don't care if it's disturbing or not, or if they're being repressive. They care about finding ways to sell you things, and often they will think of the stupidest or weirdest shit to do it, because it gets your attention. And it worked.

What I found so weird was that the leftist YouTubers (like Xanderhal or Vaush) were actually coming for shoeonhead for pointing this out because it was homophobic of her to post her criticism during pride month? Because, in their words, it would start a gay groomers debate and would reflect badly on the LGBT community, even though shoe's post had nothing to do with gay people. Shoe's videos are pretty hit or miss for me because some of them can give off quite the pick me energy (like her recent video about the Barbie movie where she COMPLETELY missed the point), but when it comes to calling out pedos, she never fails.
