Man arrested trying to drown his own children at the beach. “Reasons” aren’t given, but I’d be willing to bet his wife left his abusive ass, and he’s trying to get revenge, by killing her children.
“Two children are recovering in a Connecticut Intensive Care Unit after police officers stopped their father from allegedly trying to drown them at a West Haven beach early Saturday morning, according to investigators.
A West Haven Police Department patrol officer spotted an SUV parked at Dawson Avenue Beach around 2:30 a.m. and heard screaming from the water as the officer inspected the car, according to investigators.
The officer encountered Romney Desronvil, 41, with two children in the water, the police said.
As the officer entered the water the adult male continued to drift further away with the children all while screaming at the responding officers to 'stay back,'" the West Haven Police Department said in a statement. "It was obvious at this point that the male...was deliberately drowning his children."
Additional police officers and members of the fire department entered the water to assist, going as far as 100 yards from the shore, police said.
Officers were able to get the children away from their father and bring them back to shore to give life-saving measures before they were rushed to the hospital, investigators said.
Desronvil, a Queens, New York, resident, was arrested and charged with two counts each of attempted homicide and risk of injury, according to investigators.
Attorney information for the suspect was not immediately available.
This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.“
The article mentions the children are under 3 years old. So, toddlers. Even mothers have a hard time dealing with their toddlers. My sister brought to my attention yesterday a Reddit website page about toddlers. It is hilarious because very true about how exhausting they are. Everyone should read that before deciding if they really want to have children. Also, there is comment after comment about wives complaining how the husband cannot handle the toddlers' constant tantrums, defiance, saying "no" to everything, that the husband can't handle having to repeat, repeat, repeat the same thing several times a day . . .for three years . . . because that's how toddlers learn. I'm sorry but men, whether they are your husband or not, whether they are "HVM" or not, whatever, should not be left alone with children, especially at their most annoying ages. It is too much for men to handle. Men are not equipped biologically nor prepared socially for the enormous amount of patience, tolerance and understanding necessary to bear the weight. I'm not saying this to excuse any man, especially not this POS in the article, but just saying women need to face reality and accept that children are our responsibility. Don't have children until you really process that and figure out a way to ensure your children are never left alone with any man, including your husband, including during times of emergency when you can't be there for them.
