A song lyric told me how depraved the singer was, and now he's been told to have sexually and physically abused young girls

When I was a lot younger, I used to listen to this song called "Boys Will Be Bugs," by Cavetown. Obviously, back then I never really thought anything was wrong with it because I'd barely even read the lyrics and tried to understand what they meant. But, recently, I'd just come across the song again and gave it a listen for the sake of nostalgic purposes.

When I got to the chorus of the song, it started getting weird, the song went something like "Don't message me, I won't reply because I want to make you cry. Ain't that how it's supposed to be? Though it isn't me." Which just immediately struck me as odd, because why is this man writing a song about how he won't reply to a girl (the actual song is weird because he refers to girls and boys as "bugs" in the song but he's just talking about teenage girls and boys) he hinted he liked earlier in the song? Why is he saying that he's supposed to take interest in a girl, lead her on, and have her text him, but that he won't reply to her because he wants her to cry?

And he even ends the chorus with "Boys will be bugs right?" basically saying the same old fucking douchebag phrase of "Boys will be boys" and so it's OK for us to be dicks and have teenage girls want to text us, then for us to never reply because we actually despise girls and want them to cry. This just made me stop the song mid-way and realize how much of a pathetic scrote the singer of the song was. And what do you know, 2 weeks later he's been said to have sexually and physically abused 6 GIRLS.

I know some people might thing song lyrics don't mean much and it must've just been written to rhyme with the other words or something of that sort, but I think this just goes on to show that scrotes will ALWAYS AND ALWAYS tell on themselves. And when they do, you better listen.
