Watching 90210 reruns and I couldn't help but reminisce about the days of yore when men showered, shaved and took time to carefully manicure their coiffes every morning. I'm kind of digging the hairstyles on these men. I feel like, for the most part, they'd still fly today.
What is your favorite men's hairstyle?
I'm curious to know.
Beyond 30, just HAVING hair seems to be a feat.
All my old male classmates are already balding.
But dark, shoulder length on White guys and Hispanics is hot to me, and thin dreads on Black men is hooooot.
John Stamos' hair on Scream Queens. And Jensen Ackles' hair when he was on Supernatural. The younger brother Sam also had some good hair in the later seasons.
I've always loved thick, long, dark hair on men. But CARED FOR long hair, not 'I refuse to get a haircut or shower or leave my mom's house to see the outside world' long hair.
Growing up my family had long hair and beards but they were always clean and well kept outside of work. We've got a high concentration of Native American on my dad's side and they always had the most thick, luxurious long hair. I used to spend hours playing with my big cousin's hair when we were little.
Around here clean-cut and shaven men tend to be military which gives me instant ick (been there, done that, never again). The rest are lumberjack wannabes or true rednecks who are about as rough in appearance as it gets.
I don't have a specific favorite hairstyle or color. The same haircut can look great on one man and stupid on another. What looks flattering depends a lot on the shape of his head, the color and structure of his hair, his face, overall style etc.
My criteria would be: flattering, intentional (as in not just letting it grow, but having an actual cut/style) and well groomed.
Old example, but Dr. Chase from House when it was long enough to curl a bit. I love blonde hair. ♥️
I can tell you what I dont like - this hair cut on young guys (too young for me, mostly) lately thats like a cross between a mullet and a mohawk. Have you guys seen this?? Kind of like the broccoli haircut (also repulsive), but shaved around the ears so that it's more of a stripe of curly hair down the middle, and just as long in the back as it is on top.
It looks like a joke! Like the guy lost a bet or is being hazed, amd had to get a funny, bad haircut. A pox on all the ladies telling their dumb bfs that that looks good!
I prefer short well groomed thick hair. No preference in color but can’t stand thin hair or balding men
I like long thick hair. I don't like balding men, and I haaaate hate hate the fade haircut. It's so repulsing, I don't know why. I associate that haircut with fuckboys. I even like shaved hair, but only if he's really pretty. Like Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting (but minus the heroin addict lol).
If he's not balding, that's enough for me lmao. But preferrably long, light and clean hair. This might be a controversial take but I'd say short hair can be just as unflattering for men as it could be for some women.
I love thick curly hair, mostly because I also have thick curly hair. I like a good fade, too, a man looks great with a beautiful fade on the sides. Basically whatever hair style Jai Courtney has I love it. Then again, Jai Courtney is gorgeous so he can rock anything. But yeah. Fellas who are lurking, try to look like Jai Courtney and you're golden. 🫡 Lmao, side note: Jai Courtney looks like my last three exes all spliced together. I totally have a type. 💘
I like Shahrukh Khan's hairstyle. And 90s Salman's hair was amazing. Even Joey's hair in early seasons of Friends is 🤌
I thought done hairstyles were in for a couple of years now because of k-pop. All that long permed side bangs ))
