QUEENS... ASSEMBLE. 👸👑
Happy December!!
We made it to the last month, the final stretch of the year! Woo-hoo.
How was your Nov? What were your personal and work/professional/growth wins?
What are you intending for, and looking forward to, this final stretch?
How can you lay out the 'red carpet' for yourself and treat yourself like the precious jewel 💎 you are in these last 31 days days?
Here's to a fantastic end to the year. 🥂
** As always, please protect your privacy when sharing your wins and aims :)
November was a challenge but I feel successful!
-I helped a close friend with a personal struggle and am very proud to see her recent progress.
-I had my year-end review at work and did very well.
-I asserted my boundary and stood up for myself when my bf was rude to me. He came back around with a sincere apology and I have already begun to see changed behavior. I am reminded that when I stand up for myself and am a confident and strict babe, men tend to respect that more.
For December:
-I plan to pick up the nonfiction books I never finished reading, and re-focus on my personal growth
-I plan to set aside time for self care, whether that’s extra time reading in the bath, yoga after work, or taking time for creative hobbies
-I plan to do some form of exercise every day, at least stretching but definitely cardiovascular exercise several times a week. I need to keep my body moving to counteract the amount of time sitting during work, and the movement also helps keep me warmer, promotes better digestion, and helps with stress relief. Holidays and winter can mess with all of that, and I’d like to keep on top of it.
-I plan to continue cooking at home more so I can control the type and quality of food I’m eating, and limit unhealthy ingredients.
I'll go first:
For nov:
I am getting physically stronger! woo. hitting some milestones and hoping to reach 1 particular arm strength goal before the year's end.
I've been devouring some new books and I'm really liking this knowledge-acquiring era for me.
I stood up for myself and held my boundaries in a difficult situation.
For Dec:
I'm working My a$$ off to meet a mid dec deadline for an important and exciting goal
I really wish to do some travels to deal with some personal matters that I can finally move past, and leave in my past. Oh and how poignant if i can do it before the end of the year...
I want to inject more FUN into my life. I think I will read 'the power of fun' book.
