Hello Queens!!
It’s time for our Sunday reflections.🥰
This is a dedicated post each week reflecting on how our last week goals went.
Please feel to talk about the following:
Reflect on how went with working on goals
Your “win” for the week
Your “speed bump/challenge” this past week (relating to goal or not)
Strategy(s) to address challenges/goal
Stay tuned for tomorrow (Mondays) post where we can list our updated/new goals for the week ☺️
Well, I had 3 goals- 1. Go into my new job with a positive attitude and open mind to defeat the new job scaries and anxiety. I knocked this one out of the park. Great first week. But, I totally flopped on the other two. 🙈 2. Workout 3x. Oops. I didn’t do this at all. 3. Get out and try something new/ potential make a friend. This didn’t happen either. To be fair, I bit off WAY more than I could chew with a new job starting. Lesson learned. I’ll set more realistic expectations in the coming week. I’m proud of myself for making it through lol.
Okay! So this past week I was able to meet with my counsellor and she provided a lot of help with helping me handle and manage the remainder of my placement. We worked on an action plan together to help. My virtual job fair got pushed back to this week so I’ve got some more time to prepare for that. Overall I’m happy how my counselling session went and I’m ready to start writing out achievable goals this week
I'm late to this but I accomplished my goal of getting enough sleep but completely missed the mark on studying 30 minutes every day! To be fair, it's because I was so sick that I ended up in the ER (I'm doing much better now though). Hopefully this week I'll be able to accomplish more of my goals!
My week went great because I set smaller, more achievable goals instead of putting too many sticks in the fire! I updated my resume and applied to a job and spent a lot of time on LinkedIn, and I did a good job cancelling all the subscriptions I don't use anymore and keeping up with my budget! I'm going to keep up this strategy for the next week (this week) because it seems to keep me from getting overwhelmed and burning out :)
