To grow and change in whatever way i see fit. To unfold my conscious self and see what i can do and create
The purpose of life is whatever you want it to be. I want to have a peaceful life filled with music and to comfort and to try to leave the world a slightly better place
to have beautiful and fulfilling friendships! I think I am finally at that point. It's a mixed group of men and women which I know some FDSers feel suspicious of, but I am enjoying it for now and will be ready to block and delete if they turn out to be LVM. We are currently planning our second road trip because the first was so much fun!
To be a great therapist. I feel like I am finally coming into my own! I love my current caseload which is built of all my dream clients, and I am learning about the modalities that I love.
To own a home. This one feels a bit far away right now but I have hope! My friend suggested a financial planner who is her friend and she has worked with so I am meeting with him next week.
To be connected with God. This is going well too! I have a quiet time routine and have finally found a great church and a good small group.
Great questions. What I want out of life is to enjoy my passions and creative work (I love drawing and I want to get into sculpting and knitting/crochet). My purpose in life and what I want out of life are similar.
I want to foster a sense of community. Patriarchy and capitalism encourages individualism, being selfish, and being full of ego. Imo humans weren't supposed to be like this. We were supposed to be in small villages that worked together to take care of each other.
I want to bring this mindset back, especially among women. I'm a pretty spiritual person so I believe in taking care of mother nature and all of her creations (with the exception of scrotes. They can go expire on an island somewhere or something lol)
From an epistemological point of view, do you believe that we are living in reality or are we all just “brains in vats?” Regardless of what he answers, ask him if this is the life he’d chosen for himself, and if he got the chance, how’d he re-write it (if at all not what he imagined).
This question is a fun way to see what their deepest desires are and if they’re compatible with you.
I had one guy who was an elementary teacher, exact his fantasies of being the next Elon Musk and Wolf of Wall Street.
Another guy who had a decent desk job as an engineer wanted to quit his 9/5 job with benefits to become a professional poker player lol
