Hello ladies! My sincerest apologies in the delay in posting.
This is a new week to work on goals!!
It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
Walked 44 miles this week to 10 days in Spain. I’m going to start sending my bag ahead which means 13-15 less pounds on my back affecting my balance. This worries the control freak in me but it’s better this way.
My goal for this week is to minimize clutter by being organized! I get really distracted when I do important tasks, and I think the clutter in my life is one of the main reasons for it. Going to try to organize my room, bathroom, and other areas of my home. 🧺
Hello queens! I haven't commented in this thread for a while. I guess I was a bit self conscious about my goals because I'm unemployed and might not have optimal living conditions to be able to search for a job and function in general. My scroty neighbours downstairs often don't let me sleep and it have been ruining my job prospects. I call police and sometimes it helps. So my current monthly goal is to make it possible for me to move. For that I need to prepare this flat for renting out. I'm trying to finish refurbishing my flat in a very economic way. As a former architect, the end product will hopefully look alright. I'm doing lots of things myself and I'm upcycling lots of stuff. I'm also buying some used furniture and elements of decor. Also some new cheap stuff. Unfortunately we don't have Ikea here. TLDR: I'm refurbishing my flat using very limited resources. Goal for the week while we are having a warm weather: -Paint 3 old lamps (need to do with open windows on the balcony) -Wash all the windows that I can -Haggle to get me some used kitchen furniture (that looks like new) and a stove (fingers crossed) -Hopefully finish correcting some discoloration between bathroom tyles left by a scroty construction worker.
Look into trading my current city car for a used 4-wheel drive!
My goal for the week is to make one freezer meal that's ready to go and gluten free 🥲
I've gotten too used to isolation and distancing with the pandemic and all that drama. I still visit friend regularly, but I haven't gone exploring in a very long time. A few months ago I sought out recommendations for local museums and sculpture gardens, etc, and made up a list of spots I wanted to visit, but I haven't gone to any yet 😢 So I'm going to put on my big girl mask and go out already! There's all sorts of hobbies I've essentially abandoned on accident and I need to correct that.
