Hello Queens!!
It’s Monday and you know what that means….a new week to work on goals!!
It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
Get back in the gym and get back to creating and maintaining that habit after traveling for three weeks. Not gonna lie, it takes a while for me to get back into a groove after being away so if I can get to the gym 3-4 times this week, that’s a good goal. I’m not expecting perfection because then I give up if I don’t meet a goal. Set small, doable goals first then work up to more. I also want to get back into cooking. When I was in Spain it was HARD to get veggie meals. I am so glad to be back home, and back to veggies and fruit!
Ladies, wanted to share this personal development moment.
I plastered a freaking wall tonight. I wanted to learn DIY so i would never (again) have to be reliant upon a man to do these things for me on his own terms/when he fancied gracing my presence.
So there it is. Posting for posterity. One v happy new plasterer.
My goals for this week align with my goals for this month. I am trying to not rely on my phone so much and one of the first steps towards that is by going nice and slow. Already I am going to deep clean all of my devices and delete any apps/extensions I no longer use.
Okay ladies my goals this week are the following
complete 2 dance classes this week
write in prayer journal at least 4 times
spend 1/2 hour every day studying for my national exams
conduct daily job search
read 20 minutes of any kind of book
spend quality time with friends/family (dinners, watching films, phone calls, hanging out)
My goal is to submit my draft report Thurs midday. Then, continue working and celebrate with a day with my sister at the weekend
Continue writing practice.
Work out 3x this week.
Meditate.
I've been hella busy these past few weeks but here are my goals:
Continue preparing for my first vendor show
Remain consistent with my gym workouts (I go every other day so that I have a day of recovery between fitness...gym queens, is this a good schedule?)
Prepare a report on patient retention for my job's business meeting. It's not necessary but we need to figure out why we have so many no shows.
Continue putting myself first.
