Hello Queens!!
It’s Monday and you know what that means….a new week to work on goals!!
It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
My main goal this week is to get back to a good morning routine. This includes: meditating, saying affirmations, pulling a tarot card, and journaling. I want to stay on track with my healthy eating as well. And I also want to hit my daily water goal of 60 oz. I slipped on all this stuff last week. I know that when I do these things I feel better.
Don't know if this counts. Im a chronic overworker and came down with covid yesterday. Normally I'd force myself to work thru sickness (I can work from home), but this week I'm saying EFF THAT and using sick time, even if I feel "ok". It doesn't sound like much but we are short staffed & I'm responsible for some high priority projects so any time off is stressful. But I realized I have hundreds of sick hours (because I never use them), and frankly I don't get paid enough to be at everyone's beck and call when feeling crappy. So my accountability this week is to baby myself and not work through my sickness.
My goal this week is to journal three times (preferably in the early morning with my tea 🍵😌)
Focus this week on not binging. Prioritising my meal plan and being healthy. I also want to ensure I complete my 12 hours of studying for my masters. Ie. When I wake up early, get reading by no later than 6.45am.
I have somehow injured my knee. It sucks. In the mid-90s I had two operations, one to put my kneecap on straight, both times to get out osteoarthritis. Who knows how it happened but I’m staying off my feet (boo hiss, not easy and not preferred at all). I have an appt with my main dr on Monday. I’ve called the orthopedic medical center and they’re over scheduled but I have an appt for next Thurs. I have PTSD relating to one bad fall in college plus many falls over the years. Please think good thoughts. This last surgery has held for 28 years. I do notttttt want another surgery!
I just ended my relationship with a LVM. I have such an urge to go on OLD, but I will not! One day at a time to level up
I need to start waking up early again, I’m all over the place at the moment
Start to drink green tea every day and cut down on cup of coffee from 3 to 2 .
