Hello Queens!!!
I hope y’all are having a great Monday. Welcome back to new week of holding each other accountable 🙌🏾
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
Comment down below your new and/or updated goals ☺️
All right everyone! So my goals this week is the following - Go to a different coffee shop before and after work to keep me motivated to finish up work and researching for placement - Do my morning spiritual routine (did it this morning and it was so great so I want to keeping that up) -finish update resume and questions for job fair - finish reflections and send to my classmate
- Get into a solid WFH routine - Workout 1x (lol, baby steps)
My goals this week are: 1. No phone 30 minutes after I’ve woken up and no screens past 11:30. 2. Do at least one mindfulness meditation each day. 3. Work out 4 times this week.
Alright my updated goals look like this:
Fitness:
-10k steps a day
-start a marathon training program!
Career:
-come up with questions for my mentor! I signed up for a mentor program at work and I'll be meeting up with him this week so I'm excited to see where this can take me!
-apply for at least three more jobs
-get an interview outfit
Finances:
-update budget for August from what I learned from July
-pay off credit card
Let's get it!
These are my first shared goals here :) I'm recovering from an almost burnout, so my goals are all about wellness, and I'm focusing on one thing at a time. This week's goal is to read before bedtime everyday, so that I sleep better. A bonus goal would be to go to bed by 10:30 PM max, but I'm not gonna try that hard for now.
I have 6-7 weeks off before my new job role, so being self disciplined is more important than usual for me.
> I was have taken on a small amount of freelance work, but my previous employer called and asked for help. I've accepted some work from them and charging a higher rate since I am no longer contracted.
> Because I was burning out I'm taking on less. I'm going to use my time to go out in nature and spend time with friends/family
> Making sure to go sea swimming in the mornings 3-4 times a week
