Hello Queens!!!
My apologies on the delay in posting this!!
So todays Monday and yall know what that means….a new week to work on goals!!
It is such a pleasure to have this space and group to hold each other accountable!
For anyone not familiar or needs a refresher below are the ground rules of the thread.
This is a non-judgement free space. We want ppl to feel comfortable sharing what goals they are working on. If commenter feels that a goal someone is working on is too big please provide constructive feedback (no shaming) on how they can improve their goal
Please start a new comment when posting your goal and then ppl reply on to that persons goal. It makes it easier to be able to track it
A new thread will be posted every Monday morning and another new post on Sunday will be “reflections of the past week” where we will discuss the wins, challenges and action plans for Monday. So feel free to comment anytime throughout the week.
Goals can be in any area of your life that you’re wanting to level up. Some examples are health/wellness, career, school, friendships, hobbies etc
Goals from last week:
Achieved! Finished my internship with polish and professionalism. I hope I get a job offer this fall.... really not looking forward to grinding leetcode again if not...... 😭😭😭
Failed, perhaps? I only made it to the gym 3 days last week instead of 4 cause I did a Bodypump fitness class that completely killed me. XD So to make up for missing a day I did some extensive house cleaning.
Achieved? Made some progress on coding the physics in my game and it does what I want but it's not smooth and bouncy and fun to play with. Has a long way to go still. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me on this last week; it really did help me get up the motivation to work on it!
This week I will aim again for 4 days at the gym, and working on my game for at least 2 nights.
Can I say also, how much I appreciate this forum, not only for discussing female-specific views and issues, but also it is just SO NICE to not have most posts be from men. I am just sick of kowtowing around their fragile little egos, seeing their stupid unfunny rehashed jokes that are more often than not casually sexist, and putting up with creepy af replies and DMs. We need MORE spaces like this online!!!
I've been improving the quality of my sleep in the last couple of weeks, now I wanna tackle quantity. My goal this week is to go to sleep before 11 PM. It's a little late for me, but I'll work on it bit by bit. I don't think I have a bonus goal this week. I guess maintaining the progress is good enough for now :) I wish you ladies a great week!

Mine's just to read an hour a day. I hate reading but I want to save this dumb planet (environmentally and with science), pretty sure I have to learn how first lol.
Alright here are my goals for the week:
Fitness:
-try running at least once to see where my knee injury is at (done! it's getting better but it isn't quite there yet)
-message my ortho for a followup (I didn't do this last week)
Career:
-apply for another three jobs
-practice for my interview Friday :)
Finances:
-budget for the next two months to save as much as possible - this didn't get done last week either!
Self care:
-schedule one "self care" every day and ACTUALLY write it down in my planner
