It sounds like you may conflate super conservative with misogynism? Could there be a version of masculinity that can be both conservative AND respectful of women? I'd like to believe so... (I sure has hell know liberal guys who are TERRIBLE to women!!). i don't know... maybe muse on that for a bit and what that might look like...Also, consider other positive male role models/figures that can set alternative examples for him, whether in age appropriate books/tv/films or in real life, if you know other high value men in your life.Only other thing i would suggest is to always reinforce your standards for how you are to be treated (age appropriate of course).you are the greatest example for him.No easy gig!
