Also pushing girls and women into dating men despite not being attracted to them because "attraction will grow". Not if there's nothing there to begin with though!
I firmly believe that you should never force yourself to be attracted to someone, because your body is literally giving you signals that this is not it.
Not a lesbian, but it took me a while to realize it’s OK not to like the hyper-masculine BS they push at women. For example, men get angry when I say I don’t like bald heads, beards, excessive body hair and tattoos.
They’re especially offended at the body hair thing, some have even been like “oh so you like f*gs?” Well no. I just like men who are clean looking and don’t like they’re covered in a thick black carpet.
We seem to have a similar taste lol. I've never been into bald heads, full beards, too much muscle, excessive body hair or tattoos. I like slender pretty men with minimal facial hair and a clean look. Idk why, I find full beards kinda unhygienic looking and I like to see a man's face. I do like some stubble or a small amount of well groomed facial hair, but I don't like full beards at all.
Never been into the hypermasculine stereotype and as far as I've noticed a lot of women aren't. Otherwise male Kpop idols for example wouldn't be so extremely popular among straight women.
Maybe this is a bit off topic but I've noticed there are many gay men who knew they were gay but still chose to marry and have children with a woman, this isn't as common for gay women.
I would also like to point out how lesbians generally have different experiences than gay men. Gay men who date women to prove to themselves and others that they are straight usually do not get dumped by the women after the women are bored with having sex with them. I can't say the same about lesbians.
