I keep getting ghosted :(

Perhaps don’t buy anything for future dates anymore. It’s good of you to buy her coffee or lunch the first date (I always do the same for women) but save any future expenses for the next time you’re together, if and when that happens. And I would hope she offers to split or cover something next time. If she continues to let you pay for everything constantly, that’s a red flag to me. Women are equal, men are not. So we can’t use the exact same strategies with each sex.

She was in a difficult position with this. I found this part odd tbh. Sounded like it was forcing her into a second date. What could she have said? I am a WLW, I wouldn't have appreciated that at all and would've been enough for me to call things off.

You need to give someone space to reflect and decide if they want a second date not force it whilst you're still with them. Most people are not rude so they wouldn't say to someone's face, they just quietly exit the situation.

Maybe, but we discussed watching a movie previously and she brought it up again while we were planning the Halloween thing and seemed excited about us watching it together. Like why would she bring that up at all? If I didn't wanna see someone again I certainly wouldn't mention something like that and get their hopes up.

Nope. My only cope has been that she was quite a bit younger than me and never dated before and maybe wasn't ready for *all this* (an older person who's serious about her and doesn't just wanna play games)

It sucks sometimes! I got ghosted by someone once I was certain I had this amazing connection with. It was actually the reverse re: age, she was older. It's been years and I still sometimes wonder why she ghosted lmao.

It might not be about you at all. When I think about the people I ghosted it was never personal. Usually it was because I had an "it's complicated" on/off thing with someone else.

Yea I definitely didn't take it personal. It just bummed me out because she was really cool. Thanks for the reassurance though
