Wow. That might actually work. I've had my own experience with a man at Home Depot.
I was browsing the plant section when I came across a lovely fern. I tiptoed to grab it and I couldn't reach it. Next thing you know I see a toned bicep grab it for me.
I looked up at the man and goddam I was a goner. He was fine af.
I thanked him. I thought that was the end of it. He then tells me that he was willing to wait around If I need more help reaching plants. And NOOO he didn't work there 💀.
I was so into him but I was with my mom. I had to send him on his merry way. Bye hottie.
My mom would've ducked behind the next aisle then peeped us through the rack. If I was lucky.
She has been known to hunt down cute ones and ask for their 'assistance' on stuff she damn well knows after being married to a contractor for 40+ years. I now refuse to go with her.
I read that as getting off the dating apps and heading to Home Depot because they’ve put their energy into doing up their home 😂
That’s probably related to the fact I’m doing up my kitchen. Since I’m doing it myself I’ll be going to DIY places a lot so maybe I’ll take notes and let you all know how I get on.
I spend a lot of time at both Home Depot AND Lowes (as well as lesser known places that only deal in specialties) and it's hit or miss. Either they're the types I used to work with that are in construction because it's the only career left open to them after serving time, or they grew up in a blue collar environment and are decent guys, as my dad would say they're 'useful'.
Vet accordingly.
Edit; The new guy that took over our business account at the steel mill is kinda cute.
Did I spark this? I always said hardware stores and lumber yards are a good place to meet men...who are actually capable of doing something with their hands
I once met a really nice man at a livestock auction. We were both looking at the same draft gelding, and the first sight I got of farm boy was when he was bent over checking hooves and I went around the horse to do the same. It was a pretty nice view 🤣

Haha, I love that!
