In the grand tradition of the FDS Love Spell I present...
The Get Over Him Spell
Mooning over a guy? Keep dwelling on the past? Have new-age/witchy leanings? This is the exercise for you.
You will need:
A white candle
A black candle
matches or lighter
3 Pieces of paper and pen
Lemon oil
Rose oil
A moonstone
A jar
On the next Dark Moon (3 days before the new moon) sit in a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. Light the black candle.
On the piece of paper write down your exe's full name and under it, list all the bad/negative things about your ex (e.g. picks his nose, cheating scum, weird shaped ears, did not respect my fashion choices etc). Really go to town, no matter how minor the detail. Then sprinkle the paper with lemon oil, read what you have written aloud and then burn the paper in the candle flame, reciting "[Name of ex] and all your negative ways and qualities, I banish you and your influence from my sphere of being, begone and leave me in peace!" (please be careful and have a box of sand or bowl of water handy to douse it in once it has burned). Place the ash in a small cardboard box and bury it under a green plant.
On the day of the New Moon, once again sit where you will not be disturbed and light the white candle. On a piece of paper, write down all the good things that come from you no longer being with the ex [eg. more time, freedom, greater opportunities to follow my dreams and find new love etc]. Sprinkle the paper with rose oil. Do not burn the paper, but keep it where you will read it often.
Then take the 3rd piece of paper and write down 50 enjoyable things you have always wanted to do--they could be big or small [e.g. go to Hawaii, make my own talismanic jewelery, bake bacon choc chip cookes]. Tear the paper into strips so each piece has an activity on it. Place the strips in the jar with a moonstone and recite the following "With each day that passes, by the turning of the tides, may my heart return to me, fully and in fullness. So mote it be"
Each day, read the list of good things and take a strip of paper from the jar. Complete the enjoyable task (or make plans towards it). When the jar is empty, you will look back and wonder "what did I ever see in him?".
rituals are SO powerful! do not underestimate the impact of intentional vision + thought + action.
Love it!
