Ladies - I had a STRANGE experience recently.
I was selling some used goods online...
First of all I want to share I had some safety things working in my favour, like:
-> I was selling out of a manned, secure and surveilled storage facility (had excess things in storage). -> I also used a separate account when selling on socials, NO photos of me, and did NOT hand out my phone number at all, not to the platforms, not the potential buyers.
Long story short, after preferencing female buyers (for all the reasons we here know), and dealing with too few interest, or time wasting, disrespectful behaviour, I decided to open myself to some male interest (on the items i was selling, lol). Now of course I did vet with what I could (I obviously wouldn't go with someone who was clearly overtly risky or potentially scammy)..
Anyway, I'm surprised to hsare htis, but once I started opening myself up to this option... the sales were easy, seamless, QUICK, respectful, and one of them even bought me a drink (it's very hot weather here) which he handed me as he left the premises (ie not a drink to hit on me etc, just a kindness). Maybe I was attracting fussy women because I'm also extremely fussy? idk...Just last night i was communicating with a frustrating woman, meanwhile a guy offers me more for the item, communicates clearly about when he's picking up etc etc and then by today it's a done deal with little to no drama. or maybe its because women have less resources (generally speaking) so they are mroe neurotic about how they spend them? Just thought I would share my experience. Not quite sure what to make of it. I realllly don't think I would have entertained the male buyers if the items were at my home. I'm verrry wary having strangers come to my home as it is. But it worked to my favour to have them at the storage facility, and I insisted buyers only come during business hours (for my saftey).
I'm a bit stumped on this one. Pleasantly so. But stumped, nonethless...
Neurotic? Fussy? Drama??? Girl... they were probably just returning your energy. The way you talk about other women is nasty ngl.
I sell stuff online also with no profile pic and no contact info and women are the easiest people to deal with ever. They bring their husband/mom/sister or whoever and meet me at the location, inspect the stuff, give me the money and it's easy peasy. Most of my stuff is sold to women easy peasy.
