We are back in the dark ages. I wish all women would stop having sex with men until this is reversed.
I’m lucky to no longer be poor but I’m afraid for my sisters. This will inevitably lead to more men raping more women and forcing them to carry their child to term too.

We are not back in the dark ages, we are in the midst of a backlash specifically from the free love movement in the 70s and women's independence in the 80s. A huge point of the backlash is to reassert control of women. However an accidental byproduct that I think WILL be beneficial down the line is the cultural valuation of sex. The 70s free love devalued sex to the point that it is considered a meaningless transaction through reproductive control. We are again seeing reproductive control being used to restrict women's independence, however I think enough women are prudent enough to not let men benefit from this round of backlash. Women have achieved their rights and independence through an upward spiral and as we've circled back round it does seem like we've lost ground (and over the last 20 years we have but we still have gains from the past 50) The feminist movement is always, and has always been about women's right to say 'no', and more and more women are beginning to see the value in refusing to comply and appease. We have leverage now, you have leverage now (socio economic gains are genuinely the only true source of power) let's twist their arm right back and trudge up this damn hill
Wby do these guys act like they want to give fetuses the right to live when they can't even stand to give already grown women the right to autonomy?

I’ve abstained from sex for the last 2 years and plan to continue especially now, but in the event of rape, I don’t want to depend on a healthcare provider for the pill. Buy if you can.

Why is there not a huge women movement right now? Where is all the lib feminists now? This is so sad. I’m glad I’m done having kids and it’s hard for me to have them anyways.
